I am pretty excited because I have now figured out away to display videos on my site in a manner that makes it easier for you the user. To see a video I have added please check out my trip to Luxembourg post. Because of this new feature, and the quality of the videos it seems to make, I plan on doing more videos instead as well as pictures in the future. I feel videos are much nicer than pictures, because they can capture more of the moment. Let me know what you think! Thanks!
Not sure how many of you even noticed, but KennethPaskett.com was down over the past weekend. This was due to changing the supplier of my domain addresses. I have switched from GoDaddy.com, who I’d been with for a year, to 1and1.com because they simply offer a lower price. Anyway, I’m glad the site is back up and running. I will be posting more on the adventures that took me away from the computer for 6 days soon. So check back soon to see!
I saw this YouTube video a while ago, and it really touched me. And while fumbling around the internet trying to get ideas for my new template I stumbled upon it again. When I saw it I thought, that would be something good to post on my website. I think it is very thought provoking and would like to thank Jonathan Reed for sharing it with the world.
So yesterday I was on Facebook and saw a post that someone made with instructions on how to come up with your own CD album cover. Unfortunately I followed the instructions, but didn’t save the information to add to this post. So if anyone knows what I’m talking about please send me the instructions. Anyway, the task tells you to do a random Wiki display, and the title of the article is your band name. Then you go to a quote of the day page and the last few words of the last quote is the name of your CD album, and then you go to Flickr and take the third picture to use as your album artwork. Well I did all that and this is what I got.
My band name is “Pillow Fight League” and the album name is “Dwell in Possibility” – the quote was actually from Oprah Winfrey. Can’t remember the first part of it though. But anyway, compared to the one on Facebook I saw I think mine actually turned out really well. The band name of the one I saw was some Portuguese phrase.
So I had a wonderful trip to Luxembourg with Anna, Brandice, Katarzyna and Tea this past weekend. We were able to see several different castles, of which I fell in love with. It reconfirmed my desire to some day have my own. Hopefully that will be able to come true!
