Parc du Cinquantenaire
Parc du Cinquantenaire is a nice park, made even nicer today by the wonderful weather that accompanied it while I visited it. I believe this archway was built to celebrate Belgium’s independence (not sure though so don’t quote me) but caused quite a stir because it cost so much to build. Whatever the case, I am grateful that it was built so that I could visit it and take in its beauty. I really love things like this and wish the United States could keep a building or structure long enough for it to become as beautiful and unique as this archway has become. Sadly this is my last weekend in Brussels. Boy how time flies! Before I know it I will be back in the United States having to find a career. But I’m not going to worry about that too much until that time rolls around. In the mean time I will continue to enjoy and share my adventures with you here on KennethPaskett.com.
Have a wonderful day!
