Day for test and Presentation Preperation

spiritarms-copySo as noted in my blog earlier today I spent the majority of the morning studying for my second accounting test.  Studied a lot about revenue recognition, loss carry backs and forwards, pensions, and all the calculations that accompany all such transactions.  I was one of the first ones in the class to finish the test.  It took me about 50 minutes to do.  But despite finishing earlier than many others, I think I still did pretty well.  I’ll find out for sure how I did tomorrow.

After taking the test I went to meet with my Business Strategy class group.  We have a presentation tomorrow, and we’ve spent hours on end getting ready for it.  It’s basically like our mid-term project, but has felt more like a semester project.  Last night we met together for about 5 hours, and then again today for another 4 hours.  Prior to these two meetings we have met on several different occasions for time frames liking to those of today and yesterday.  During yesterdays meeting we made brochures, business cards, and other handouts.  All of these handouts had the logo that I created for us, part of which is shown above.  We are presenting as “S.P.I.R.I.T. Consulting.”  We agreed to meet an hour before class tomorrow to run through the presentation one last time.  I really hope that with all this preparation that we have done, that it will be to the teachers liking.  And if it isn’t, I guess will just have to learn from the mistakes we made and do better on our next presentation that is coming up in 3 weeks.

Also tonight I met with my Project Management group, as we have a presentation in that class tomorrow as well.  Can I say its been a busy day?  That meeting wasn’t as long.  We just switched up the order of our presentation a little bit, and decided who was going to talk about what.  I’m not as nervous for this presentation, as the class is smaller and we all know and get along well.

Needless to say, I will be happy when tomorrow is over!
